Implement DVD9 to DVD5

It would be great if it could shrink (either lossy or lossless) a DVD9 to DVD5.
Lossless means by removing unnecessary parts (e.g. cinematic trailers of other films, or additional languages).
Lossy by recompressing the video (and the audio), by downmixing audio tracks etc.
Even better would be a combination of all the above options
